Artist Statement
Robert Ryan is an award winning, Sacramento based artist. He paints still life, landscapes, figures and more contemporary works in oils. His work has been shown nationally.
Mr. Ryan began painting when a bicycle accident limited his mobility for the better part of a year and fell in love with this particular creative process. He has since received formal instruction in this country and in Europe.
In 2012, he retired from a successful legal career to pursue painting full time.
