Artist Statement/Bio
I have taught art as Professor at the Academy of Art San Francisco for over 25 years. with a concentration on figure painting and figure Drawing. Also taught plein air course abroad in Italy for the Academy. I have raised and donated millions of dollars thru my foundation as well as other plein air events that I founded.
Keith Wicks (b.1959) Keith is a masterful painter with a long career as an artist as well as philanthropy. Keith's works are found in many collections. A painter based in California Keith is a signature member of the California Art Club and a graduate of Art Center College Pasadena CA. Founder of Sonoma Plein Air Foundation as well as founder of Telluride Plein Air Foundation. He spends most of his time painting cityscapes, seascapes and figurative works. Keith lives in the town of Sonoma with wife Terry. They travel to Europe for Keith to paint and Terry collect antiques.
