Artist Statement
My work is the outer expression of my inner journey though life as I’ve internalized and interpreted it from my vast research and travel. I use figurative forms both human and anthropomorphic, to convey concepts that I’ve developed as a result of over 60 years of searching for and actively engaging in, the meaning of life. I use symbolism, glyph and narrative as a visual means to communicate within the body of my paintings, sculpture, multimedia and installation works of art.
Bio
Kathleen Ball has been a fine artist for most of her life. Although her primary focus was Sculptue and multimedia for over 30 years, she’s now expanded her prolific artistic expressions to include, painting in acrylic, oil, ink and watercolor over the past 7 years.
Her work is a culmination and expression of her many years of study into the esoteric, spiritual aspects of life, the diverse worldwide cultures including ancient glyph and symbolism.
In addition to fine art, Kathleen’s experience includes film making with her recently released documentary, The Brazilian Templars Mystery, out on Gaia/Amazon Prime, and literary works of her recently submitted book, A Grail Quest and Discovery of a Templar Cave in Brazil, television appearances, radio, workshops, live demonstrations and teaching. Kathleen’s now retired from Columbia Community College in the art Dept where she taught figurative sculpture, anatomy, multimedia, painting and drawing classes.

Bachelors degree in Fine Art and Multicultural
Studies
Masters degree in Fine Art Sculpture
Bachelors in World religion/Metaphysical Science
Masters of Metaphysical Science
Ph, D in Philosophy of Metaphysical Science
She currently resides in Boulder Creek, California where she maintains an active studio and exhibits her work in the Santa Cruz area and online.
