Artist Statement
My work is not complicated or profound, through the medium of watercolour, my paintings celebrate the beauty of everyday things.
I choose subjects that resonate personally with me & I hope to share that appreciation with people that view my work.
Bio
I was born in 1943 in London during the 2nd world war & had a secondary school education.
I immigrated to Canada in 1965 & worked in the forest industry for 35 years and then retired & worked as photographer for a National Canadian Travel magazine.
I took up painting in 2008 & am an active member of The Federation of Canadian Artists (both the Vancouver & valley Chapters) & The Garibaldi Art Club.
I have been accepted into a number of juried shows & my art is presented in a number of local outlets.
