Artist Statement
Ever since Man picked up the first stick and made a mark, or tied two strands of dried grass together to form a knot, there has been Art. It weaves itself through Time and reveals the past as only a visual image can. It can be history, social commentary, or just decoration for that awkward space at the top of the stairs, but if it evokes a response, it has done its job. I'm just an artist who enjoys doing that job. My love of art started at a very early age, and my passion for it has never waned. From illustration to murals to oil painting, I immerse myself in art to my heart's delight. I love painting Nature's beauty as well as people at work or at play. There is always a new and exciting subject around the next corner to be captured on canvas, and when my interpretation of it speaks to someone, I am a very happy person!
