Artist Statement/Bio
"More than a likeness, a portrait captures the uniqueness of those we love, and holds their memory for generations.
Started the learning process with a wonderful artist and painted his first portrait at 12;
Mr. Dordick’s education encompassed the Chicago Art Institute, American Academy of Art, and the Los Angeles Art Center College of Design.
Notable Commissions include former President Jimmy Carter, Vice President Walter Mondale, President James & Dolley Madison, Diana Princess of Wales, The Cornel Wilde Family, Arte Johnson, and Pioneer in Medicine Dr. Leon Morgenstern.
